The village of La Douze is found in the heart of Périgord half way between Périgueux and Les Eyzies, the capital of prehistory.

We offer half-board stays at the farm.  We can advice you on your visit to the thousand and one châteaux of the region, medieval villages and prehistoric sites.  You can also take canoe rides on the river, or go horse riding in the Barrade forest or take advantage of the peaceful environment at Castel Dèche.

Half-board comprises: diner with home-made foods, first course: gizzard salad or stuffed neck or pâté; main course: fillet of duck breast or goose conserve or strip of breast or drumsticks with olives or skew or stew or duck leg with beans; cheeses, dessert, Bergerac wine, coffee; breakfast offers a choice and you can help yourself to as much as you want: coffee, tea, chocolate with bread, butter, home-made jams, fruit juice and walnut cake.

For 8 € extra you can start the meal with foie gras and a glass of Monbazillac.
